Big ones 'n' little ones is a chance for children aged between 2-5 to come along with a grown up of their choice (parent, grandparent, nanny, uncle, aunt whom ever they choose) to one of our Forest School sessions.
The session will last for one and a half hours and will give participants the chance to explore the natural environment and take part in woodland experiences together. These sessions are very much about building a community.
Your "little ones" will be able to enjoy social interaction with others their age,
whilst the "big ones" enjoy getting stuck into the experinece alongside them, re-learning the art of play and meeting other like minded parents.
Each week hosts an new topic, whether it be looking at wildlife, eco-projects, nature walks, foraging, scavenger hunt and seasonal mud kitchen.
Each session ends with an evaluation of learning, and on special occasions we toast marshmallows around the campfire.
We encourage the grown-ups to join in just as much as the children in these sessions, so its super fun for all ages
Complimentary refreshments are available for grown ups, all you need to bring is a mug!
We run sessions all year round and provide shelter on rainy days, so you can enjoy the outdoors, whatever the weather!
When do the sessions run and how do I sign up?
